Our colleague Santigo Morante presented his PhD Thesis on 4th March, 2016. The Thesis is entitled “Continuous Goal-Directed Actions: Advances in Robot Learning" and deals with a new paradigm of robot imitation where the continuous state of the environment is affected by an action is modeled. Each feature recorded is a dimension in a space, being actions represented by a robot´s trajectory in this space. The Thesis supervisors were Juan G Victores and Carlos Balaguer from RoboticsLab. The Jury members were Vicente Matellan (UniLeon), Antonio Barrientos (UPM) and Dolores Blanco (UC3M). The final mark was Excellent “cum laude”.
