Design and construction of a robot for maintenance of urban structures

The project consists of designing and building robotic devices that facilitate the maintenance of urban infrastructures such as lampposts, billboards, canopies, etc. The project has designed both the mechanical structure of the robot, the mechanical transmissions, the control electronics and the programming until full functionality is obtained. The first prototype is protected under patent.

Development of computer vision techniques for the alignment of Heliostats

In solar tower plants, thousands of follower mirrors (heliostats) concentrate solar radiation on a receiver to produce electricity. An alignment error in these heliostats of just 2 MRAD produces around 30% losses in the annual energy production of this type of plant.

WRG Robots and Technology Cathedra

The cathedra focuses on the study and integration of robotics and technologies in leisure activities, cultural and sporting offer healthy activities for young people. The main objective is to tudy and development of robotic prototypes and technologies applicable to recreative, culture and sports sector.
