Technofusión (the National Centre for Fusion Technologies) in the Madrid region, is conceived as the infrastructure required to develop the technologies needed infuture commercial fusion reactors.

TunConstruct is 6FP European project as multi-disciplinary approach to promotes the development of technological innovation in underground construction. The role of the RoboticsLab is the development of robotic system for tunnels' inspection & maintenance

The project consists of designing and building robotic devices that facilitate the maintenance of urban infrastructures such as lampposts, billboards, canopies, etc. The project has designed both the mechanical structure of the robot, the mechanical transmissions, the control electronics and the programming until full functionality is obtained. The first prototype is protected under patent.

In solar tower plants, thousands of follower mirrors (heliostats) concentrate solar radiation on a receiver to produce electricity. An alignment error in these heliostats of just 2 MRAD produces around 30% losses in the annual energy production of this type of plant.
