Robots Móviles

El equipo de investigación tiene una amplia experiencia en el campo de los robots móviles. Varios miembros de este equipo son pioneros en la investigación en robótica en España, donde han estado trabajando durante más de 20 años. El equipo de investigación ha centrado su actividad en esta área, participando en varios proyectos y redes internacionales relacionados con la robótica móvil: EURON y CLAWAR. Es muy relevante su participación en sociedades científicas internacionales.

El equipo ha colaborado en varios proyectos nacionales e internacionales. Se han desarrollado arquitecturas y sistemas de navegación para robots móviles en el proyecto TOPO (2000-2002), basados en el comportamiento humano. Este trabajo es directamente aplicable a los robots personales. Actualmente, en el proyecto «Asistente Personal Robot» (2002-2006) financiado por el McyT, se estudian las emociones durante el comportamiento del robot.
