RoboCom++

Rethinking Robotics for the Robot Companion of the Future

Main researcher: C. Balaguer

F1

Description

Robots of the future will be able to perform more and
more complex functions in a simple, intuitive way, as useful tools in domestic environments, indispensable tools in modern industries, made of a combination of “hard” and “soft” materials”. RoboCom++ project has the task
of drawing a picture of the next generation of robots. The RoboCom ++ consortium, coordinated by Professor Paolo Dario of Sant’Anna School BioRobotics, is formed by 24 international partners. The project starting in early 2017 for duration
of three years has the goal of providing guidance on the future of interdisciplinary robotics research.
