The kick-off meeting of the IROPER project was held online January 18 th. The three-year project is funded by the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación (Proyectos de I+D+i en líneas estratégicas, PLEC2021-007819) and is coordinated by Carlos Balaguer. Project members include Luis Moreno and Miguel Ángel Salichs(Robotics Lab) and Jesús Mercader (C. Sociales y Jurídicas). The other partners participating in the project are PAL Robotics and ASISPA.
The main objective of this proposal is the development of the new integrated paradigm of intelligent robotic assistant for people with different needs such as elderly, disabled, injured persons with special necessities, individuals in rehabilitation stages.
