On 19th of June of 2017 the awards ceremony of the “9th Prototyping Contest: Digitalisation and Automation. Industry 4.0” was celebrated,organised by SIEMENS S.A. The application ‘iFarmacia’, developed by the students Marta Moreno Garcia-Moreno and Alejandro Rodríguez Alvarez and directed by the Dr. Santiago Martínez de la Casa Diaz from the Systems Engineering and Automation Department from the Carlos III University of Madrid, was awarded with the UNIVERSITIES’ SPECIAL PRIZE valued in 2500€ of SIEMENS equipment.
