PhD in Industrial Automation Engineering (Robotics specialty).
I am from a beautiful and cold town called Mucuchíes in Mérida – Venezuela. I received in 2004 the B.Sc. degree in Systems Engineering from Los Andes University, Merida, Venezuela. In 2008, I received the M.Sc. degree in Robotics and Automation from the Carlos III University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, where I also received, in 2012, my Ph.D. degree with a dissertation based on robotics and RFID technology:
“Navigation of Social Robots using signaling.”
I was Assistant Teacher in the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation of the Carlos III University of Madrid from 2007 to 2012. I has worked in several research projects related to social robots, autonomous navigation in mobile robots and RFID technologies.
Currently I am working in ARIADNA as Research and Developer Engineer.
