Last Wednesday 26th, we donated 280 tablets left over from the IROS2018 international congress held between 1st and 5th October 2018. This donation took place in a meeting between the Robotics Lab and the association receiving the donation, RECUMADRID, in which a document of cession was signed.
RECUMADRID is a member of AERESS, the Spanish Association of Social and Solidarity Economy Waste Pickers, dedicated to the social and labour insertion and training of people in situations of social vulnerability, which offers services in the environmental field, specifically in the management and revaluation of certain fractions of urban waste. In addition, it carries out awareness-raising campaigns and actions to reduce waste generation and improve its reuse and revaluation.
