Hi! So I ended up working in robotics because..., well who knows. Before that I grew up in Segovia (nice town, big aqueduct), got a Bachelor's degree on electronics for communications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, did my bachelor's thesis in Helsinki (Finland - thanks Erasmus grant for existing) and finally studied a master degree on Robotics ans automation in Universidad Carlos III of Madrid (this last one seems to be a good reason). Currently I'm working at Robotics Lab (since September 2010) where I am a Phd Candidate. My work here is mainly related to a robot called Manfred who rarely does what I ask him to do. I focus in the upper extremity and my research topics include arm/hand control and planning, grasping, dexterous manipulation and learning. Any doubt or interest about my work, don't hesitate and contact me. Cheers!
