Varios miembros de este equipo son pioneros en la investigaci\u00f3n en rob\u00f3tica en Espa\u00f1a, donde han estado trabajando durante m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os. El equipo de investigaci\u00f3n ha centrado su actividad en esta \u00e1rea, participando en varios proyectos y redes internacionales relacionados con la rob\u00f3tica m\u00f3vil: EURON y CLAWAR. Es muy relevante su participaci\u00f3n en sociedades cient\u00edficas internacionales.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo ha colaborado en varios proyectos nacionales e internacionales. Se han desarrollado arquitecturas y sistemas de navegaci\u00f3n para robots m\u00f3viles en el proyecto TOPO (2000-2002), basados en el comportamiento humano. Este trabajo es directamente aplicable a los robots personales.
