Se ha dise\u00f1ado para funcionar eficazmente en entornos en los que se requiere capacidad de manipulaci\u00f3n humana. MANFRED-2 debe ser capaz de navegar de forma aut\u00f3noma en un entorno compuesto t\u00edpicamente por un pasillo y oficinas.<\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o del robot se inspira en los exploradores planetarios y los sat\u00e9lites de comunicaciones. Estos sistemas se componen de varios subsistemas que deben estar interconectados para que todo el sistema funcione. Estos subsistemas son: ordenador de a bordo, sistema de distribuci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, sensores, sistema de propulsi\u00f3n, etc. Tambi\u00e9n pueden implementarse m\u00e1s instrumentos para explorar el entorno, como brazos articulados, en funci\u00f3n de su aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>MANFRED-2 tiene como m\u00e1ximo 8 DOF. Se compone de una base m\u00f3vil de tipo diferencial con dos DOF y un brazo ligero antropom\u00f3rfico con seis DOF. Puede ejecutar m\u00faltiples tareas. Las m\u00e1s t\u00edpicas son abrir y atravesar puertas, evitar obst\u00e1culos y coger y manipular objetos.
