Juan-Carlos Cobos-Torres currently, he studies his Ph.D. at the Carlos III University of Madrid and received his MSc degree from same University. In addition, he received a degree in Electrical Engineering, and an electronic technology from Catholic University of Cuenca where he began his professional career as a professor and researcher. He has an MSc in Automation and Robotics. His main research of interest focuses on real-time computer vision techniques applicable to robotics or other demanding real-world, and real-time applications. Further, Biomedical Signal Processing with methods and algorithms based on computer analysis of biological and medical images, in particular, vital sign detection. Finally, His research interests also include modelling and control of mobile manipulation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and UAV indoor navigation systems.
