BADGER: a Horizon 2020 project coordinated by the Robotics Lab

Project RoBot for Autonomous unDerGround trenchless opERations,
mapping and navigation, BADGER, has been recently approved by the European
Comission. The project will be coordinated by the Robotics Lab and is among the
ICT program from by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Programme.
The start date for BADGER is January, 1st, 2017.

Four EU projects featured in the 13th RoboCity2030 Workshop

In the last 13th RoboCity2030 Workshop (EU Projects Results in the Frame of the Madrid's Regional Robotic Hub RoboCity2030) held on December 11th four EU projects in which the Robotics Lab participates were featured.

Robo-Spect EU project press release

ROBO-SPECT (http://www.robo-spect.eu/) is a project co-funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme that runs from 2013 through 2016 implemented by 11 partner organisations from 6 European countries. The ROBO-SPECT consortium is combining recent advances in robotic systems and sensors, computer vision, ultrasonic sensing, and laser scanning, in an integrated manner to achieve structural assessment of reinforced concrete linings in transportation tunnels in a semi-autonomous way.

13th WorkShop RoboCity2030: EU projects by the consortium

RoboCity2030 promotes robotics science and technologies in numerous human-centred applications in metropolitan areas, as well as in country sites. The strong synergies created by the main partners and more than 20 associated partners, from industry, allow the development of dozens of innovative projects and knowledge transfer programs.
