Introduction

Javi Gorostiza studied physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, in 1999. Also he recived the Ing. degree in Electronic Engineering in the same university, in 2002. He is currently making the Ph.D. in Human-Robot Multimodal Interaction, in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where also he is a teacher.

"I think that the different human being models is the best source of ideas in this field of research, so I am interested in psychology of human-human interaction, to take the essence of the interaction between humans, then apply to a Human-Robot Interaction. Robot implies limitations because its nature, but also opens new language articulations: sounds, lights, multimedia,...

Applications: education, entertainment, artistic expression, human colaboration, robot companions, knowledge of human,...

Please, do not hesitate in contact with me to tell me any suggestion, idea or comment, or to look for any collaboration"
