Jorge Villagrá Serrano graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Universidad Politecnica of Madrid (Spain) in 2002. He received his PhD degree in Real-Time Computer Science, Robotics and Automatic Control at the Ecole des Mines de Paris (France) in 2006. He is currently a Visiting Professor at the University Carlos III, Madrid (Spain), where he is involved in teaching subjects such as Signals and Systems, Control Systems Theory or Computer Integrated Manufacturing. His research interests include nonlinear and optimal control for automotive applications, nonlinear estimation, and robust networked control systems in robotic applications.
