Juan A. Escalera is researcher of the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation at the University Carlos III of Madrid. He received a Msc degree in Electronics and Control and a PhD degree in Robotics and Control. Both degrees were obtained at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. He has worked as researcher at the University of Sheffield for 15 months. Regarding his professional experience he was control engineer in SENER for more than 4 years. Additionally he received a Bsc in Mathematical Science by the National University of Maynooth (Ireland).
