The present work aims to describe a graphical user interface to acquire and process vibration and acoustic signals. The interface allows the students to obtain or simulate signals from mechanical elements in an easy way and without a deep previous knowledge. The signal processing tools implemented can be used to extract valuable information about the signals and to diagnose the status of the mechanical elements. The interface has been developed on MATLAB®, using data acquisition.
